Operate basic hand tools and site equipment (training provided where necessary)

Skills & Experience
Previous labouring or site experience preferred (not essential)

A CCDO Demolition Labourer supports controlled demolition works by carrying out safe, compliant, and efficient soft-strip, material removal, and general site tasks. Working under supervision, the role ensures all demolition activities meet industry standards, site regulations, and health & safety requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out soft-strip demolition, removing fixtures, fittings, non-structural elements, and waste
Assist demolition operatives and supervisors with manual tasks and preparation work
Segregate, load, and dispose of waste materials in line with environmental and recycling procedures
Operate basic demolition hand tools and equipment (training provided where required)
Maintain clean and safe work areas, ensuring debris is controlled and removed promptly
Support controlled demolition activities, following RAMS and supervisor guidance
Erect and maintain exclusion zones, signage, and barriers
Help with unloading and moving materials, equipment, and tools
Report hazards, unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately
Follow strict site safety procedures, including asbestos awareness and dust suppression control
Skills & Experience
Previous demolition or construction labouring experience (preferred)

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities for tenders and live projects
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Conduct valuations and prepare payment applications and certificates
Assess and negotiate subcontractor quotations, orders, and variations
Monitor and control project costs, identifying risks and opportunities
Prepare and manage change control documentation and variation claims
Support procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services
Maintain accurate commercial records, measurements, and site reports

Skills & Experience

An EWI (External Wall Insulation) Installer is responsible for installing external insulation systems safely and to high quality standards. The role involves preparing substrates, fixing insulation boards, applying render systems, and ensuring all works meet specification, building regulations, and PAS 2030 requirements where applicable.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall external wall insulation systems, including EPS, mineral wool, phenolic and other board types
Prepare external surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming substrates
Fix insulation boards using mechanical fixings and/or adhesive systems
Apply reinforcement mesh, base coats, and finishing renders
Install trims, beads, corner profiles, and verge/soffit details
Ensure correct detailing around windows, doors, sills, and penetrations
Work in line with manufacturer specifications and system installation guides
Maintain clean, safe working areas and protect surrounding property
Operate hand tools and rendering equipment safely
Ensure compliance with PAS 2030 processes (where required) including documentation and photo evidence
Report issues, defects, or variations to the site supervisor or project manager
Follow all site health & safety requirements, including working at height controls
Skills & Experience
Proven experience installing EWI systems (Weber, Wetherby, SPS/Envirowall, K-Rend, etc.)
Strong understanding of insulation fixing, mesh embedding, and render application
Ability to read drawings and follow detailed installation specifications
Experience working on social housing, retrofit, or refurbishment projects (advantageous)
Knowledge of working at height, scaffolding safety, and site H&S procedures
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Insulation & Building Treatments (advantageous)
PAS 2030:2019 competency (preferred for retrofit schemes)
CSCS card (required)
Working at Height or harness training (advantageous)
