The role involves preparing substrates, fixing insulation boards, applying render systems, and ensuring all works meet specification, building regulations, and PAS 2030 requirements where applicable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install external wall insulation systems, including EPS, mineral wool, phenolic and other board types

    • Prepare external surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming substrates

    • Fix insulation boards using mechanical fixings and/or adhesive systems

    • Apply reinforcement mesh, base coats, and finishing renders

    • Install trims, beads, corner profiles, and verge/soffit details

    • Ensure correct detailing around windows, doors, sills, and penetrations

    • Work in line with manufacturer specifications and system installation guides

    • Maintain clean, safe working areas and protect surrounding property

    • Operate hand tools and rendering equipment safely

    • Ensure compliance with PAS 2030 processes (where required) including documentation and photo evidence
